Pentecost Christians
05/12/2019

Hello, Friends!! What an amazing time that the Lord has brought us to! As I keep saying, there are so many concurrent things going on. right. now. that tell us that our Beloved is very near, and the next prophetic chapter and events are about to start! Definitely keep up-to-date with the Timeline, to remind yourself of the many signs, warnings, and signals coming together right now!

Today (12th) marked the end of the Shavuot day (Pentecost), but in general Jewish thought it carries beyond it a few days, reflecting the events that happened at Mount Sinai. The Biblical day is only one; but there is a context of events that followed AFTER the timing of Shavuot. This immediate post-Pentecost time contains some powerful pictures of Moses being called up into the mountain clouds! Right here at this time when we have two powerful anniversary dates connected to Israel - the fig tree - and that we should be expecting our redemption (pick up of a purchased possession) at this time! We are told to look up and expect it - connected directly with these signs and signals. Of course, we also hear the near-constant reminders of peace and safety, now, too!

And, of course, the Pentecost time should remind us immediately of the Acts 2 events that happened on that day - AND what followed after. Today, the Lord called my attention to how the Pentecost account directly quotes a super-important prophetic promise and chapter - that we have exactly been watching the celestial rehearsal of!!!

Peter directly quotes to the crowd, the promise and process that the Messiah would follow: "For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, until I make thy foes thy footstool." - Acts 2:34

Later, the Apostle Paul reminded the Hebrews (10:1) that, "this man [Jesus Christ], after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; from henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool."

What an amazing reminder, right now, at the Pentecost time!! We know that Christ ascended to heaven once He finished His earthly work - and will be waiting until the time that His enemies are made His footstool. We see that being depicted in the heavens. right. now!! He will be picking up His wise, faithful, and ready Bride - and then He will open the legal scroll to take possession of what is His - crushing His enemy in the process. We know that the next chapter is about to start!!

When we look up into the heavens right now, we see Jupiter is at the right foot of Ophiuchus, till about May 23. (For more in-depth about these constellations, check out our PDF, The Heavens Declared ). Ophiuchus is the one treading on the scorpion! If you have been with us on our learning journey, we have seen that the Rev 12 sign event was merely one portion of the amazing celestial events that have happened recently - but they all collectively tell a single story!!

We saw the celestial signs telling the story of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah Who would be born of a woman, offer Himself as a sacrificial offering, and then would finish the next prophetic chapter by making His enemies His footstool. There is a big prophetic time gap from the crucifixion events - then the 'henceforth until' - and then the prophetic chapter changing again. We are at the time of expectation for it - and when we look up - we see celestial reminders declaring what is about to happen - at the same time geopolitical warnings of peace and safety are warning of the same thing!!!!!!

One thing that has caught my attention with Jupiter's travels in this region is that it is doing a loop, meaning it will pass by certain areas three times. And it is literally drawing a circle around the right foot area!! Hellooo!! What also catches my attention is that Jupiter will be the brightest around June 9th (at opposition) - and that it is pretty much exactly 5 months to when Jupiter will be over the scorpion's stinger for the final time. Hmmm... What does five months, and a scorpion's stinger remind us of?....

Revelation 9:10-11 - "And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon."

We can't say that time on the celestial clock specifically delineates that period of five months - but it certainly is a very strong ringer and reminder that if the prophetic chapter does change any day now, then the Rev 9:11 events will be starting very shortly thereafter... There is a lot of prophetic warnings going on right now - and celestial signs that we see when we lift up our heads and look up.

We are at an amazing time of not just Pentecost, but the time that follows. Now bear with me, as we have to provoke one another with the subject of good works (Heb 10:24-25) - and so much the more as we see the day approaching... A lot of Christians focus on the day of Pentecost, but not a lot of attention is given to what the early Church did immediately afterwards (Acts 2:41-47).

"Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."

Did you catch what made the early Church so unique and different from the 'Church' today?

When they saw a need, they did not hesitate to be like the Good Samaritan - going and doing likewise - even to the noted point of selling their own stuff to meet a need. This one powerful testimony was such a part of the early Church that it is recorded again two chapters later (Acts 4:33-37)!

"And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet."

I have heard the rhetorical question asked: "Would the early Church even call us Christians?"

The early Church shined so brightly - with great power being a ready testimony to the work of Christ in their heart and life - because they followed Christ's instructions to lay up their hearts and treasures on things of eternal value, and to be the hands and feet of Christ in their life! When we personally live a life of ACTIVE faith, we reach for things of eternal value because we are actually living like we BELIEVE it!!!

Christ once asked the disciples the rhetorical question: "...when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" - Luke 18:1. Will Christ find Christians actively living out the faith that they claim to believe? Or will their faith be dead because there are not works as evidence that they believe it? When we say that we have all of the prophetic signs telling us that we are about to leave this world, our Redeemer and Beloved is about to come, and the next prophetic chapter is about to take place? - what kind of faith is Christ looking for?

What do you think the Pentecost Church would be doing, if they were in our shoes?
They would be shining brightly - with great power and witness of what Christ did in their life.

Notice that they did so without being told to do so...

Friend, lately we have touched on the very provoking question of are we shining brightly, and are we bringing forth love and good works in our life - AND SO MUCH THE MORE - like we are told to?

Recently, I have encouraged you to kick these areas into high gear, because this is what we are told to do. When we look at the early Pentecost Church, and how they had a heart of compassion for others - a heart of Christ - are we striving to follow their example? One of the most pivotal dates in the Church's history, and we find so little teaching and exhorting to follow their example! Why???

Because it will cost us something. It costs to buy eternal gold. It costs to buy oil. It costs to burn brightly.

They were of one accord - and were steadfast in their faith. Faith and practice must go together. A faith without works is dead; a faith with works will have great power and grace.

Friend, we see so many prophetic, geopolitical, celestial, and calendar signals reminding us of the prophetic promises - do we live as though we believe it? Are we rising up, trimming our lamps, and shining bright?
Or is it merely a cliche to us, to say we should "so much the more as we see the day approaching"?!?
Either we don't believe the day is approaching, or we don't believe we should do it period... let alone so much the more...

Since the time of Passover, this year, I have been provoking you to put your faith into active practice. Foster the fruits of the Spirit. Run to finish strong. Reach for the prize. All of these require action; some mental, some physical, some spiritual. The Great Commandment is to love the Lord with all our heart, all our soul, all our strength, and all our mind. Do you think the early Pentecost Church believed this - and lived it? Yes. Can we? Yes!

Friend, I have said many times that one of the greatest signs - to me - is not just seeing the awesome celestial signs, or seeing the prophesied geopolitical events in the news - it is seeing God work a powerful work in my own day-to-day life, when I go forward in faith, acting and believing on these promises and His instructions. I can only boast of what God has done, when I follow His Word, leading, and guiding. Like Peter walking on water: faith in Christ was coupled with action toward Christ. The entire rest of the disciples sat in the boat watching - but without action or evidence of any faith.

We have seen the same parallels: most Christians follow prophecy for morbid interest. Their 'faith' is not enough to act on, merely to hope in. Like the Laodiceans, they do not ever want to ACT on their faith - like the Pentecost Church recorded in ACTS. Christ repeatedly tells us that He desires us to be zealous of good works - hot and on fire for Him! When we put faith into action - like the Pentecost believers - we can see God's working, power, grace, and glory in ways that the disciples who sit in the boat never got to experience!

Friend, I have shared with you the amazing, miraculous, incredible things that the Lord has been doing here at the Brook Cherith medical missions - getting it ready for the prophetic chapter change, and those that will be affected by it. I share these posts because I want you to see not just this need in this corner of the vineyard - but see that God is working for such a time as this - and that we should kick it into high gear, so much the more! I want to see God work in my life. I want to see the fruits of the Spirit brought forth. I want to draw nigh to my Beloved, and have Him daily sup with me - Him and I. My heart's desire is to ACTIVELY love Him - a strength that ACTIVELY loves Him - a soul that ACTIVELY loves Him - a mind that ACTIVELY loves Him - and a life that shines bright for Him. It is my reasonable service for One Who ACTIVELY loved me first...

Friend, on the Timeline, at the bottom, I have added a timeline summarizing some of the amazing works that the Lord has accomplished, here at the Brook Cherith, in just the short time since Passover of this year. Over the past few days, we have continued to add a covered walkway as part of the Triage area, and work on other upgrades - as He has directed. To Him be all the glory for what is accomplished, and what He is still doing. every. single. day. You can be an active part - here, or in your corner of the vineyard - if you wish; just step out of the boat. He wants to use us. He desires vessels of honor for the King's business. He desires Pentecost Christians who allow the Spirit to bring forth eternal fruit in their life for our Father's eternal glory.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." - Matthew 5:16

We have seen so many signs, signals, miracles, and celestial rehearsals telling us that the Bridegroom cometh. Let's rise up. Let's trim our lamps. And let us go forward - together - out to meet our Beloved.

And let us love Him, and let us serve Him - FIRST - and highest, above all else.

Maranatha!
Brother Daniel
