He That Hath An Ear
06/18/2019

Friends, here at this very late hour, it has been sobering to see many of the reactions from those who watched(?) or read(?) (or neither) our latest videos and the in-depth Bible study on the particular subject of righteous Gentiles. On one hand, there were many positive comments, and indications that some were familiar with the Bible subject - or at least willing to be a Berean and search out the Scriptures whether it was true or not. Kudos to those who are willing to search the Scripture; they are more noble than those that often don't (Acts 17:11).

On the other hand, though, were those that you could tell had not even watched the video, read the Bible study, or knew what we were even talking about. Many of them were quick to quote from the unrelated Talmud (which we don't even mention or reference in our two Bible studies) - as somehow(?!?) more authoritative for their prophetic understanding than what Scripture said.

What was really sad was those who put more weight and belief in what the Talmud says - instead of what Scripture says contrary to the Talmud. Others insisted that the Talmud must be the source for what they believe about a subject, since it apparently touches on the subject (amongst thousands of others). Somehow, to them, Scripture is outranked by the Talmud; so they will ignore a Bible study that does not even quote from the Talmud - even if it contradicts the Talmud.

This prompts a very, very important question - that Jesus emphasized in every single letter to the seven churches:

"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." - Rev 2:7
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." - Rev 2:11
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." - Rev 2:17
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." - Rev 2:29
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." - Rev 3:6
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." - Rev 3:13
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." - Rev 3:22

The question is this: Are you really listening and heeding to what Jesus said - more than what others said?

Who are you listening to? Which do you listen more to God's Word, the Talmud, the Quran?

Which one is the authoritative subject on ALL matters of faith - to you?

Which one do you search - with all readiness of mind - to see whether something is true or not?

Most importantly: are we especially listening to the literal warnings of Jesus Christ?

If Jesus (who dictated the book of Revelation) says that the antichrist will not be following Talmudic Law, then who should you believe and listen to? Jesus or the Talmud?

It is ironic and sad, that Christ spoke of His two covenant folds - right when He mentioned that the sheep of one fold WOULD NOT LISTEN TO HIM - but the other covenant fold had many sheep that would. Notice that Christ spoke in present-tense: there were already God-fearing sheep in another fold somewhere - separate from the Hebrews that He was talking to. Considering where they were standing - which Scripture pauses to let us know (hint, hint) - the Pharisees fully understood what He was inferring.

The Court of the Gentiles was not built for Gentile tourists - it was for all the sons of Noah (Gentiles) that were God-fearing! God made a covenant with Noah and his sons; God also made a separate covenant with Abraham and his children - with specific statutes that would make them separate and peculiar from the other sheep. God has two folds - with some sheep in each fold that won't listen, and some sheep in each fold that will listen.

Notice that Christ was speaking to the Pharisees (John 9:40) - Hebrews. They were of the 'right' fold (so they thought) - but they were not listening. Christ knew that there were already sheep in the Gentile fold that would readily hear and accept Christ as the promised redeemer - such as Lydia and Cornelius; just like Jethro and the Kenites of old - of the other fold. All believers in Him - Jew and Gentile - would be together in a new fold: Christians.

Friend, we cover these subjects more in-depth in the Bible study, The Covenants and The Law. Be a Berean: have a readiness to search the Scripture - not false books.

Christ is coming to reward us according to our works - which includes how we listen and heed to what He said. The letters to the seven churches contain both promises and warnings related to hearing. Are we listening? In one, He warns against the spirit of Jezebel (Rev 2:20), and how she and her children would be punished for not listening and repenting. What was Jezebel, of old, most known for? False accusations, false witnesses, and lying about someone (I Kings 21). Immediately after the deed was done, God sent Elijah to rebuke Ahab - and that his children would be affected as a result, too. Which is also the same parallel warning that Christ gave the Church.

Christ takes it extremely serious when someone makes accusations, slander, false witness, and lying; it is one of the top six things that He hates (Proverbs 6:16); even His churches are not exempt. Friend, I say that to caution you what you listen to, and what you say - whether verbally, written, or typed. If you are going to publicly accuse someone of something, whether false teaching, apostasy, or whatever - without offering full evidence, full witnesses to establish a matter, or without hearing a matter - then you are willfully condemning someone just like Jezebel. Christ will reward those that act like the very person He warned not to. Christ gave the seven church multiple examples of warnings - and what will happen to those that don't listen.

Now, at this extremely dark hour, we should not be surprised that the enemy - and the spirit of Jezebel - is working. We must be sober: extremely serious, especially about Christ's warnings to the churches. We must be vigilant: against enemy attacks, and our own wrong actions and reactions. We must be listening - and obeying - what Christ wants us to do.

May we strive so that Christ can say we are His sheep that hear His voice - and FOLLOW HIM.

Let us rise up, trim our lamps from anything that keeps us from shining bright, turn it up all the more - and go forward, actively listening and following our Beloved's voice - FIRST - and highest ABOVE ALL ELSE!!

Maranatha!!
Brother Daniel
