Why Noah's Laws Now?
06/23/2019

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I hope that you have been searching the Scriptures with a readiness to see what God's Word says. I am constantly reminded that Christ told us His return would be in the days of Noah and Lot - and we see these two themes coming together very strongly, especially in this month associated with Pride against the Creator's Laws which are clearly seen. It also shouldn't surprise us that it wasn't long after God gave Noah instructions and reminders to teach the following generations, that Lot's account - and Sodom and Gomorrah - came up; both of these subjects go together.

This should give us very strong pause and reflection when we consider WHY NOAH'S LAWS NOW? Why is this subject coming up? Well, what does Scripture warn is coming, right on the heels of "Peace & Safety?" Judgment - using the two examples of judgment coming in Noah's day, and how it came in Lot's day: suddenly. This, of course, should soberly make us reflect of why judgment fell in both of those instances: the active disregard for the Creator and His natural laws.

It has caught my attention how the Lord directed our PDF resource, The Covenants to cover this subject in-depth, back in November 2018. Several other related resources followed, at the turn of the year. Then, you may have noticed how the Lord suddenly ramped up focus and work on The Brook Cherith Medical Missions Center, really getting it finished and more properly functional. Once it got all usable - and greatly upgraded - the Lord (in a sense) enveloped it with the subject again, by directing the shorter PDF, The Law, as a companion to "The Covenants." The medical center work is done with the understanding that we are very much in the days of Noah and Lot!!

All of how the Lord has been working over the past eight months should strongly show how He is working, and the consistent message that He has been emphasizing: Christ is coming during the days of Noah and Lot - and a similar sudden destruction is following immediately afterward. We have been emphasizing on the Timeline, how this month of June is especially known for the pride and heart rebellion - that goes back to the story of Lot, and the disregard for Creation's Law.

The more that we search Scriptures - and truly see how important the days of Noah and Lot were, we can more horrifyingly see why they choose a 6-color flag of pride (number of man, Gen 1:26-31) instead of a rainbow's true 7 (God, perfection). Particularly, when we examine the laws of our Creator - that Paul says are clearly evident to everyone - seeing the emphasis of the 7 pillars (Proverbs 9:1). Nature - to the thinking individual - makes the invisible things of God clearly known, as Paul states. Wisdom will think on these, and yield to honor and worship the Creator. Foolishness will reject what is clearly known, and will harden their hearts to the Creator. We see this exact progression outlined by Paul in Romans 1.

Friend, God has brought up this subject - to be studied and searched in His Word - for this specific time. Judgment is coming. The more resources that we can print out, and leave behind, the greater opportunity for others to reflect on what is coming on the world, and that the Judge of all the earth (Gen 18:25) is doing justly.

We must also consider that the Rapture is going to leave an incredible void of light and understanding - right at a very dark hour. There are going to immediately be many questions by 'professing-Christians' who were left behind. Many new believers - who never really read Scripture at all before - will suddenly need direction, especially about what they should do. There will be a lot of doctrinal confusion: "Should the Gentiles pretend to be Hebrews, or not? Do believers have to do sacrifices again like the Old Testament? What does God require of believers in Christ? How should they live? What do they not need to be troubled with?...." There will be many questions, on top of conflicting views by other 'professing-Christians' who are here, too. Let us POINT THEM TO SCRIPTURE.

One of the best things that you will be able to do - now - is print off a resource that points them to Scripture and sound doctrine. Encourage them to disregard opinion, feelings, Jewish fables, man's precepts, etc. - and to ONLY hold fast to sound doctrine: that which can be found and backed up in Scripture. Just like Paul's admonition to Timothy (II Timothy 4:1-4), when we know we are about to leave, one of the best things we can do is point them to sound doctrine and provable, evidential truth. There are going to be very precious few resources and individuals that will be able to help many focus - solely - on Scripture, in the days ahead. Let us be part of that number - now - helping pass the torch of sound, Scriptural doctrine.

Definitely print out the PDF resource, When to Watch, for yourself now; but also as a reminder to those in the days ahead that Scripture is true, especially His warnings about the days of Noah and Lot. The more that we can reassure them of the strength and validity of God's Word, the more that they can be emboldened to stand up for Christ, go forward boldly, and to shine bright!

One does not have to read the daily news long to see that time is very short, and pride, rebellion, and wickedness is greatly increased. Let us see it for what it is - rebellion against our God and Creator - and may it vex our heart to a longing for things of righteousness, holy, and pure. The world is coming up - this month - on major milestones that commemorate more public and outward acts of sinful rebellion - right at a milestone reminder of the star of Bethlehem reminder signs that THE WORLD SAW four years ago.

Luke 13:6-9
"He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down."

It is hard not to read that passage, and not remember when the Judge of all the earth came to examine Sodom (Gen 18:20-33). What did He find? He had shown great longsuffering and mercy, but the time must come when a judge must act. The chapter also shows how He was looking for who was righteous - doing what was right in the Creator's eyes, too. We should also soberly reflect that Christ gave a very clear and similar warning to His disciples (us): "Remember Lot's wife." - Luke 17:32. Now is the time - when we know the days - that we especially trim our lamp, shine brighter, and keep our eyes solely fixed on our Beloved - rising up and going forward out to meet Him.

May the Lord use these TIMELY SUBJECT REMINDERS to strengthen our faith, increase our vigilance, increase our searching of God's Word, and by proving all things we can hold fast to that which is good. May our life, heart, soul, and mind be a pattern and light that encourages others to love and worship our Creator and Father. May we love Him, and serve Him - FIRST - and highest above all else!!

Maranatha!!
Brother Daniel
