Watching the Lord Work
7/22/2020

Praise the Lord for what He is doing at this very late hour!! Every day He is working, giving strength, wisdom, provision, and liberty for the work that He started at the Brook Cherith - and building to this incredible prophetic harvest time!! He is the One preparing, enabling, and outfitting these vessels and nets!! What an incredible opportunity and commission He offers us to be a part of serving - as His vessels - in preparing His vessels!!

Praise the Lord for cool breezes, safety on the road, ability to find parts, liberty, strength, tools, and efficiency for the fabrication! Thank you, fellow servants (fellow fishers-of-men), for your prayers, offerings, and notes of encouragement; it truly is a much needed uplifting and wind in my sails, to see fellow labourers alongside at this late and tired hour. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

It's almost hard to express how quickly things are happening, now! So much has happened over the past 48 hours! (And - believe it or not - I did sleep and stuff). Praise the Lord, the ministry truck now has new front tires! Definitely came in handy for the numerous trips I had to do yesterday and today, just rounding up key supplies. Praise the Lord, we're now making large jumps, reaching great milestones in the progress with the generator trailer; and it isn't too far from being completely operational!!

BUT one thing - and lesson - that I want you to see the most is: the work that is coming together right now was made possible by so many little parts of action collectively over the past weeks. Over a month ago, steps were already in motion, slowly preparing - and going forward in obedient faith - setting aside parts, supplies, tools, and hardware that the Lord showed us would be utilized as His vessels reached completion.

Over the past weeks, those who offered their loaves and fishes for His service, were part of preparing a work of faith. Part of stepping forward in faith. Part of the Lord's orchestration and stirring in hearts. An echoing part of the Spirit's desire to call those who are athirst. Part of holding up a portion of the net that our Captain has told us to launch out into the deep with. Indeed, as I was working on the generator trailer today, I was again struck by the incredible likeness of this trailer work to a sailing vessel.

Praise the Lord, today finished the fabrication and installation of the main light mast hardware. This arm stays in a stowed position while traveling; but is raised up at the site of operation. Once this vessel launches out into the deep (prophetically into the days ahead, or physically to a new location), the light mast(s) (of two that the trailer will have) will be the first beacon of light. Lord willing, each mast will have 1-2 main 120V LED area light(s), that will be powered when the generator is on; as well as two 12V lights (via battery power) that can function as backup lights when the generator is off or being serviced.

I've mentioned it before, but it should catch our attention the parallels that Christ told us He wants to find in our lives - when He comes - our loins girded in His service, and our lights burning. What the Lord is doing at the Brook Cherith right now is a sign, a reminder, a pattern, an exhortation - and a late hour emphasis. The Brook Cherith work IS the 'video' that He is shewing you. It's His channel, His production, His work, His idea, His strength, His wisdom, His liberty, His doing!!! AND HE'S TRYING TO SHEW YOU THAT IT IS HIM WORKING!!

Friend, if we are more interested in watching videos about rapture high watch times, celestial trivia tidbits, or hearing some new thing - INSTEAD OF SEEING GOD WORK - than we are in a very sad state. If OUR OWN BELOVED can work a work in our midst, right in front of our very eyeballs and ears and knowledge, - and we would rather watch a video about something else - then our heart is extremely lukewarm (and daresay cold), and we are completely tone deaf to what the Spirit saith - and sheweth - right to the churches. US.

Friend, I could care less about making videos, talking about kewl and interesting stuff, or even talking more about all the time-related implications - WHEN CHRIST IS WORKING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME; I'd rather be involved with what He's doing. And when I get a moment, I'll do my best to tell you to hurry up and get a front-row seat and part, too! Bring yer loaves and fishes, roll up your sleeves, help load the nets, help hoist the sail, and let's launch out with our Captain in the boat!!

Friend, you are watching a 'video' whether you realize it or not. You are watching it; I am watching it, too. This is not my work; I am just the stage crew. The Director is the One Who orchestrates it all, directs events, stirs in hearts of fellow servants across the world, and is directing a work that is visibly evident before us all. The question is: do we want to be a part of what He is doing; or do we only want to watch?

If we only want to watch now, then we will only watch in eternity. If we be a part of what He is doing now; then we will also be a part greatly magnified in eternity. And if what we see of His hand on this side is amazing and beautiful, then I definitely want to be a part of the eternal overture. If our heart swells now in grateful awe at seeing His presence and working, how much moreso will our heart and lips burst forth His praise when we front-row see the final tapestry that He wove with our threads. The threads that we placed into His hands. "Here am I, Lord; use me."

Today, when I hefted up the new Toolbox, and bolted it down to the deck, it was incredible to reflect on the rapid transformation on the trailer that the Lord so divinely brought across our path - to our shore. For me, the Toolbox marked another milestone, in that the vessel is now being outfitted. Up until this point, it's largely been getting the vessel itself ready: getting the 'engine' ready, getting the tanks ready, getting the superstructure and 'hull' in place... But now, walking around on the deck, I was now getting the trailer ready. Ready to be launched.

It was somewhat moving as I starting filling the Toolbox with the supplies that we had been stockpiling in the Maint Shed for several weeks. It was a reminescing time, as I placed each item in there; remembering some of when we got those tools, those paper towels, some of the fellow servants and circumstances that helped get certain parts... It moved me to see the Toolbox as a collection of loaves and fishes - and I was placing them in the basket to be handed out. This Toolbox is for one single mission: to keep the lights burning, as long as possible.

"Ye are the light of the world.
A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick
[lamp stand: light mast];
and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

- Matthew 5:14-16

"Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing."

- Luke 12:35-43

Friend, what are you watching?

I hope and pray that it is the hand of our Master, working and beckoning to us, even from at the very door. Let us respond immediately. No excuses. No regrets.

The trumpet calls at midnight have told us one very important thing: The Bridegroom is already at the door. Go. Ye. Out. To meet Him.

Let us rise up, gird up, and brighten up - together - as we go forward in His service to His beckoning call: HEARING Him, HEEDING Him, LOVING Him, and SERVING Him - FIRST - and HIGHEST ABOVE ALL ELSE!! Watching Him - with heart and hands - till He comes.

Maranatha!!
Brother Daniel
